Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November of 1985 at Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix's athletic talent was evident from the moment she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first trial she took her skills, she placed 2nd in the 200m race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from her high school year in 2003 and became a part of Adidas an agreement as a professional athlete. The following year she attended University of Southern California studying elementary education. One year later Felix won her first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking the world junior record taking 200 metres within 22.18 seconds. She was the youngest world champion of 200 meters during the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007 beating her former Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top three in all of her races in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
