Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha - better known as Gugu - is a British stage actress and film actor. Gugu gained notoriety after starring in the BBC's 'Doctor Who' British TV show that is a science fiction. Gugu achieved a lot of recognition for her role as Tish Jones, the sister of the main character, Martha Jones, in the series. Gugu was set to pursue a career in acting after the audience fell in love with her cheerful spontaneity. Gugu also has appeared on a number of different British stage and television shows to date. Critics have praised her for her performances on "Belle" (2013), an English period drama, and "Beyond the lights", a romantic comedy. Also, in American productions, she's played on television shows like "Undercover" as well as "Touch" in addition to as the Tom Hanks comedy film Larry Crowne. Gugu Mbatha Raw was the lead character of a mistress and actress in the show 'Nell Gwynn,' which was performed in the role of Jessica Swale. At the age of 19 She moved into Los Angeles, California to explore a career in acting. Handler started acting for money. But, at aged 21, Handler decided to pursue stand-up comedy as a full-time profession because she realized her story telling abilities. Handler started her stand-up career on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving badly the reality series that featured a hidden-camera/practical joke. The show was on the air from 2002 until 2005.
